Vinyl Stair Nosings are protective molding strips installed on the front edge of stairs to enhance safety and durability while offering a visually distinctive, finished appearance. Vinyl stair nosings also help prevent slips and protect stair edges from wear and tear.
-- Butt-type nosing is ideal for a range of applications such as the front edge of stages, bowling lane steps, platform-like floors and bar footrests.
-- Lap-type nosing has a form-fitting adjustable nose and a 7/8" lip to allow 1/8" flooring to lap over the back edge.
-- Carpet-type nosing improves safety and prevents worn carpet edges on steps. Butt 1/4" to 3/8" thick carpet against both the top and bottom lips of carpet nosing.
